Now Available: COVID-19 Testing

Updated: Aug 24, 2021

ISPS is now offering COVID-19 testing services to the Filipino public

In an effort to push for mass testing in the Philippines, the International Sanitization and Protection Suppliers (ISPS) was commissioned by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Disease (IATF-EID), Department of Social Welfare and Development, the BCDA Group, and the Department of Health (DOH) to build, sanitize, and monitor the country's four (4) major "mega swabbing centers," namely Enderun Colleges in Taguig City  (eastern sector), Palacio De Maynila in Roxas Boulevard, Manila (western sector), Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City (southern sector) and the Philippine Sports Stadium inside the Philippine Arena in Bulacan (northern sector). The World Health Organization (WHO) has recommended all nations to "test, test, test" to combat the coronavirus, as early detection would allow patients to be isolated and treated to prevent further infections.  During a Malacañang press briefing, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque called on the private sector to increase testing capacity in the Philippines.

In order to further boost mass testing efforts in the country, ISPS is now offering customizable on-site and off-site COVID-19 testing services in addition to offering a wide range of COVID-fighting products and services including sanitation equipment, electric bio-fogging, misting services, as well as premium disinfectant products.

Rapid Diagnostic Testing

Rapid Diagnostics Tests (RDT) rely on identifying the immune response of an individual. These antibody tests are important for establishing who has had the virus, especially because many people infected seem to show no symptoms (asymptomatic carriers), and to confirm hospital discharge.

In the fight against any highly contagious virus, time is of the essence. Rapid antibody test kits yield faster results – 5 to 15 minutes – compared to RT-PCR (Reverse Transcriptase Polymerase Chain Reaction) tests which take around 3 to 5 days. Furthermore, antibody tests are relatively inexpensive, simpler, and cost-efficient
